Application is now open for the Primary Course JFY2020 for Non-Japanese Applicants of “The Global Peacebuilders Program”

 

The Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development (Global Peacebuilders Program) has started accepting applications for the Primary Course JFY2020 for Non-Japanese Applicants.

 

The Course is designed for people who have the strong will to build their careers in the field of peacebuilding and development to acquire the required practical knowledge and skills through participation in a 5-week Coursework in Japan.

 

This course expects to host 10 participants from Japan and 10 participants from other countries. Those from the following countries are eligible to apply for this year’s program: Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Philippines, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Uganda.

 

Duration: Tuesday, January 19, 2021-Friday, February 19, 2021 (Approximately 5 weeks)

*Monday, February 22 and Tuesday, February 23 are optional.

Venue: Tokyo and Hiroshima City

Participation Fee: No fees (except fees necessary for his/her participation online) charged for selected participants (Travel fees, traveler’s insurance, accommodation fees and living expenses are covered through the program)

Application Deadline: Thursday, October 15, 2020 (9:00 am Japan Time)
