24th International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centres (IAPTC) Annual Conference

Prof. Hideaki Shinoda, Director of HPC and Program Director for The Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development, attended the 24th IAPTC Annual Conference in New Zealand on 1st – 4th October 2018.

Brochures on HPC’s programs and application guidelines for foreign applicants were provided at the HPC booth which was set up in the conference venue to disseminate information about HPC’s programs.

At the conference there where about 120 participants who are involved in training for peacekeeping operations from all over the world. Networks were strengthened and international recognition of the Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding was deepened. At the same time, information on trends in global training institutions was gathered.
