Briefing Session and Individual Consultations regarding “The Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development” in JFY2018

Hiroshima Peacebuilders Center (HPC) held a briefing session of “The Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development” in JFY 2018 on Friday, July 20 followed by Individual Consultations on Saturday, July 21. 64 participants attended the Briefing Session and 16 people availed themselves of the Individual Consultations.

During the Briefing Session on July 20, HPC explained in detail the overall objectives, policies guidelines as well as a brief outline of the Course contents. Mr. Kohei Nakamura (Director of International Peace Cooperation Division, Foreign Policy Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Hideaki Shinoda and Yuji Uesugi, both of HPC, provided detailed information and explanations. This was followed by Q&A session.

After the Briefing session, on July 21, HPC provided opportunities for individual consultations in order to answer questions and to address any concerns regarding the application process for the Course.
