Completion of the Coursework in Japan of the “Primary Course”

The six-week long Coursework in Japan of the Primary Course ended on February 27th, 2016. In addition to acquiring the practical skills and knowledge required in peacebuilding and development from diverse facilitators, the Coursework also offered an opportunity for Program Associates to consider their long-term career design through individual consultations. Come spring, Japanese Program Associates will be dispatched on their one-year Overseas Assignment as UN Volunteers to field offices of international organizations while non-Japanese Program Associates return to their home countries. We have high hopes that each and every one of them will internalize the lessons from the Coursework and become experts in peacebuilding and development.
